Geard talks about his family’s history of internment. His father was interned three times, 1940s, 1950s and 1970s. Geard’s brother Danny was shot dead while his father was interned in 1972.
Bridie O’ Neill, the only woman to be interned in the 1950s was Geard’s aunt. Geard tells us about her life and his memories of her when he was growing up.
